Blog rules and comments

We LOVE comments, but let's keep it civil and useful.

There have been a few comments in the last week that I have rejected. If you are the poster, I apologize for having to do this, but the spirit of the comment was mean in one case and just kind of silly and possibly criminal in the other. (if you were just kidding, I get it but c'mon!) this is a county website and we follow the county rules of conduct. which can be found here: http://www.arlingtonva.us/web/terms.aspx#forums (under Terms and Conditions). We allow you to basically be anonymous here at arlingtonteens.com ( you have to enter a name, but we don't check whether it's your real name.)

I haven't had to crack down and remove posted comments before, and I feel like a censorship agent. It's hard to say where the line is, but I felt it had been crossed. Please know that the Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth and Families values EVERY visitor to this site and wants them all to get something positive from the experience. I am truly grateful that I get to work here for the county and on Arlingtonteens.com and with the TNB.

Please let me know what you think about removing comments that are deemed inappropriate.

Thank you!!
