Blog rules and comments

We LOVE comments, but let's keep it civil and useful.

There have been a few comments in the last week that I have rejected. If you are the poster, I apologize for having to do this, but the spirit of the comment was mean in one case and just kind of silly and possibly criminal in the other. (if you were just kidding, I get it but c'mon!) this is a county website and we follow the county rules of conduct. which can be found here: (under Terms and Conditions). We allow you to basically be anonymous here at ( you have to enter a name, but we don't check whether it's your real name.)

I haven't had to crack down and remove posted comments before, and I feel like a censorship agent. It's hard to say where the line is, but I felt it had been crossed. Please know that the Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth and Families values EVERY visitor to this site and wants them all to get something positive from the experience. I am truly grateful that I get to work here for the county and on and with the TNB.

Please let me know what you think about removing comments that are deemed inappropriate.

Thank you!!

I don't know about you, but I am in love with food. The look, smell, taste is literally amazing. And the best thing is, that there is soo many different types and styles that it's mind boggling. Hispanic food, French food, Chinese food they're all amazing, but we know that the best food is Malian. Besides Malian food I also love Asian food. Pho, pad thai, dumplings, and rolls, that's the good life. Rice and soy sauce with chicken... you've got to be joking ME. I'm broke so I can't eat Asian food often but when I do I die. As I said Malian food is the best. You have peanut butter sauce, spinach sauce and white onion sauce. Also, the way my mom cooks chicken with the sauces makes me want to explode with laughter. And I love how she cooks all of the food under an hour, it makes me scream. All in all, my love for food is everlasting. And probably after this I'm going to go eat done food but the theme is; you can never go wrong with food, besides school food!
