Fun Activities for those Summer Babysitting Jobs

Babysitting jobs in the summer can get a little repetitive- playing at the house, making lunch, pool, playdates, movies at the house… Here are some great ideas to do with the kids you are in charge of! Or even with your friends (they are pretty great!)

Clay Café
Looking for something different to do? Clay Café Studios in Falls Church is always a great summer activity! You can pick a piece of pottery to paint and they fire it for you. This is always a great time, and gets you out of the everyday routines. Bring a friend, your mom or dad, or even the kids you babysit!
Visit to learn about special promotions that will save you money also!
This place is worth the drive! Reboundez is an indoor trampoline extravaganza. Not only is it a great time, but it is also a little bit of a work out! Just make sure you check out their website ahead of time- under 18 means you need to have a parental consent form, and remember to bring your id!
Visit for directions and waiver information
Air and Space Museum
Often times living so close to so many resources in the nation’s capital goes overlooked.. But, this summer visiting the FREE Smithsonians at your finger tips can be a great way to spend a day. The air and space museum entrances kids with the big machines all around and they are always having presentations to help them learn more about how things fly, and go up all the way to space.
Visit to learn about upcoming event and how to get there! (metro is always a great idea)
