Keep Trying!

by Neeka Samimi, W-L HS guest blogger

"All that matters is that you've tried your best."

You've heard it said endless times by teachers and parents. But when it comes to high school, sometimes that doesn't feel like the case. However you look at it, your grades are important. It's easy to feel discouraged and frustrated when you study but you're still not getting the grades you want.

Sometimes it's good to remember that saying. When you try your best, you will end up with the results you want. Think about all of the times you begrudgingly studied for a math test about a concept you hated.

You can only try your hardest when you're open to learning the material. Realize that you do want to get something out of the class you're studying for. Then, you'll be able to truly reap the rewards of a job well done. And all that effort won't be wasted!
