CAMP SHAKESPEARE

Spend the Summer with Shakespeare!
Sessions run from June 18–August 11, 2012!

Participants in this acting-intensive day camp journey through a world of discovery, capturing Shakespeare’s language through animated explorations in theatrical movement, text analysis, group improvisation and stage combat. During  two-week sessionsyoung people ages 9–18 create fun, dynamic characters from Shakespeare’s canon, culminating in a performance onstage at the Shakespeare Theatre Company.

All sessions are led by our faculty of classically-trained  Teaching Artists. Returning participants may audition for our three-week Advanced Camp.

Camp Hours are 10:00a.m.–5:00p.m. Monday–Friday with a showcase on the last Saturday.

There's only *2*months till summer! ok, that seems like a lot, and when you are busy, it's hard to plan ahead. But what will you be doing? if you want a job or internship, the time to start applying is NOW!
