Are You Getting Enough Exercise?

Teens need one hour of physical activity nearly every day. Are you consistently reaching that goal?

When you're not on a sports team at school, it may seem difficult to exercise, but rest assured, it's easier than you'd think!

You can walk around your neighborhood in the afternoons. You can bike to school if you live close enough. You can also try online fitness videos. YouTube has a host of exercise channels that can help you get in shape from the comfort of your own bedroom with no equipment needed. You can even look up exercises and do them in your living room while you watch TV!

Don't think that an hour a day is an unrealistic amount of exercise--think about how much time you spend on your phone every day. If you try to make exercising a habit, you'll be surprised at how quickly you adapt to making time for it in your schedule!
