A workshop designed for children and their grandparents to explore theirfamily history.

Children will be taught techniques for interviewing family members and documenting family history

A second genealogy workshop entitled “Baby Steps to Your Family History” will be held at 2 p.m. with the focus of of genealogy research for beginners and the special challenges African Americans face when researching their family history.

Presented as a celebration of African American History Month in partnership with Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial.
