Come join us for an informative discussion of what options Arlington Public Schools offers your child in the next school year and about the practical benefits of learning a foreign language early. Questions will be welcome. We’ll also talk about summer programs, opportunities for fellowships and other support for language study during and after high school. Interested students are also welcome.
Speakers will include Dr. Rick Jackson, Senior Research Associate, National Foreign Language Center, University of Maryland, and long time chair (now assistant chair) of the World Languages Advisory Committee (WLAC); Marleny Perdomo, Supervisor of APS World Languages and a panel of APS high schoolstudents.
Sponsored by Arlington Public Schools World Language Office and the Citizen’s World Language Advisory Committee. For more information contact: Caroline Bosc at cbosc46@gmail.org or Marleny Perdomo at marleny.perdomo@apsva.us .
